PrixMax Radiator Flush Concentrate is an excellent choice for the periodic, preventative maintenance of diesel and petrol engine cooling systems without costly downtime. PrixMax Radiator Flush is a heavy duty cleaner compatible with all engine coolants, and can be conveniently left in the system for a minimum of 1hr and up to 30 days for heavy duty engines. The product contains a mixture of highly efficient organic inhibitors and a dispersant-detergent agent to effectively remove mineral scale and oxide deposits, whilst simultaneously providing corrosion and cavitation protection.

PrixMax Radiator Flush is made in Australia for Australian conditions. It is an excellent choice to prepare an engine for organic based engine coolants or any other coolant product. It is also ideal for periodic, preventative maintenance of diesel engine and gasoline engine cooling systems without costly downtime. PrixMax Radiator Flush removes light mineral scale and limited oxide deposits. PrixMax Radiator Flush is ideal for cooling systems that are considered to be in an acceptable condition, that have been previously using good quality coolant products and are therefore only displaying light mineral scale and limited oxide deposits. Suitable for use in any water cooled engine, PrixMax Radiator Flush contains a mixture of highly efficient organic inhibitors and a dispersant-detergent agent.

Notes

For engines with “green slime”, excessive scaling or severe corrosion contact your vehicle Manufacturer or Distributor. Heavy duty cleaning of diesel cooling systems in particular is a specialized operation requiring a knowledge of the effects of chemicals on engine components and should not be attempted by the unskilled. Previous corrosion and scaling may have damaged engine components to the extent that attempts to clean the cooling system may render the engine completely unusable. Your vehicle Distributor or Manufacturer can consult with you on the probability of a successful outcome depending on the extent of prior damage.

It is standard industry practice to flush the radiator between coolant changes even if you are replacing the coolant with the same brand already in use. There are many radiator flush products available and many of these should be used with extreme caution as per the advice on the instructions. The quick 10 to 20 minute flush products are very aggressive and should only be used in very fowled and contaminated cooling systems. Owing to their aggressive nature, a great deal of internal damage can be caused if these instructions are not followed and these types of flush products should be avoided if the cooling system is in an acceptable condition, to avoid putting the engine through this unecassarily aggressive cleaning process.
