PrixMax RCI (Radiator Corrosion Inhibitor) Universal Non Antifreeze Conventional Chemistry Coolant Concentrate 500ml - 500ml makes up to 6.5L costing as little as $1.10 per litre.

PrixMax RCI is a cost effective coolant concentrate formulated to keep radiators and cooling systems clean and free from corrosion, electrolysis, rust and scale build-up. This coolant has proven performance in protecting against corrosion after 100,000kms, demonstrated through extensive EL and AU Ford Falcon taxi field trials. It is designed to protect alloy and cast iron petrol/gasoline engines in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, and will provide excellent heat transfer performance for cooling systems where freeze protection is not required

This product is ideal for cars manufactured before 2001 before the introduction of more exotic alloys inside engines. Correct coolant change out procedure requires a radiator flush to be conducted prior to product installation if organic coolant has not been used prior. Why Non Anti-freeze Coolant?

Non anti-freeze coolants or as they also known, water based coolants or Type B coolants have many benefits over there anti-freeze based (glycol based) counterparts. They are the superior choice for cooling performance in environments that don't experience prolonged and sever freezing conditions. There are a number of reasons the main being that glycol based coolants contain a chemical which lowers the freeze point of water. This chemical has a viscosity index that is greater than water and when it is mixed with water this effects waters abaility to cool as the increase in viscosity has an impact on waters ability to transport heat. There are numerous other benefits that water based have over their glycol based counterparts including:
